CATEGORIES & SPECIFICATIONS

For the context of this competition, a “reborn” is defined as a crafted sculpture resembling a human baby, toddler, child, adult, fantasy creature, animals, or a fusion of these entities. Entries must encompass the completion of painting, finishing, and styling, solely by the artist. 

*With Limbs - Refers to 1/4 limbs through to full limbs

    Small Reborn

    Refers to reborns that 21 inches or less, with limbs. Includes miniatures, minis, preemie, and newborn-sized reborns. Can be silicone or vinyl and must be presented in a lifelike human manner

    Large Reborn

    Refers to reborns 22 inches or more, with limbs. Includes Infant, Toddler, child, and adult reborns. Can be silicone or vinyl and and must be presented in a lifelike human manner

    Cuddle Reborn

    Refers to reborns with a vinyl or silicone head and cuddle bodies, no limbs permitted. Can be any size, and must be presented in a lifelike human manner.

    Fantasy/Alternate and Novelty Reborn

    Refers to reborns of any size, vinyl or silicone, painted and presented in a presented in a fantasy, alternate, creative, or novelty manner. Modifications permitted.

    Any Style Reborn

    Refers to reborns that don’t fit other categories or if you have another reborn of the same style as one already entered. Any size, style, or theme. Modifications permitted.

    More categories will be added over time as RAA grows. These will include more specialty categories such a rooted and painted hair, and more specific size categories such as miniatures, preemie etc.
