GENERAL MEMBERSHIP & APPLICATIONS

I applied to join and haven’t heard back—what’s going on?
Please allow several days (up to a couple of weeks) for your application to be reviewed. Processing time depends on the volume of submissions and the time required to verify each one. Be sure to check your spam or junk folders—RAA emails often end up there.

I wasn’t approved—what can I do now?
First, double-check your spam or junk folders. If your application couldn’t be processed, you’ll receive an email explaining why. The most common reasons are incomplete or inaccessible links, or we couldn’t verify your work online. You’re welcome to reply with updated or additional information. You can also provide a reference from an approved RAA member—if they can vouch for you, we’ll happily reassess your application.

I’m a collector—can I join as a buyer/seller only?
Not just yet. At this stage, RAA membership is only available to artists, vendors, sculptors, and affiliates. However, we’re exploring future options for collector verification, to help identify reputable buyers and sellers within the community.

I’m new to the reborn industry—can I apply?
Yes, absolutely! You don’t need to be established or have a large following—just enough online presence for us to verify your identity and your work. Share photos of your completed pieces, works in progress, or even your setup—anything that helps us confirm you are the artist.

I’m an approved member—how can I update my profile images?
Easy! Email us with your nursery/trading name and the images you'd like to add or remove. Currently, all profile updates are done manually, but we plan to upgrade to a self-service member portal in the future.

I’ve changed my nursery/trading name or URLs—can I update my badge/profile?
Yes! Just email us with the changes you need, and we’ll make sure your badge and profile are updated accordingly.

Can I add my Reborns.com or OnlyReborns.com shop link to my profile?
Absolutely. Email us with your trading name and the relevant link. Once your Reborns.com link is added to your RAA profile, you can also add the RAA logo to your Reborns.com shop by including your RAA profile URL in your links.

I still have questions or my questions weren't answered, can I still submit a message?

Yes! Select "Other" for your reason for the enquiry from the form dropdown and use the message section to submit your questions.

RAA COMPETITIONS

*FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR COMPETITIONS PLEASE CLICK "COMPETITION INFO" IN OUR MAIN MENU*

How do I enter an RAA competition?
Once you're an approved member, you can purchase competition entries through the Members Area. After purchasing, submit your entry photos and details via the ‘Submit Your Entry’ section.

How do I qualify for the RAA Finals?
To qualify, you must compete in at least one RAA qualifying event and receive a Gold score or higher (85+/100).

Can I enter more than one qualifying event, even if I’ve already qualified for Finals?
Yes! You can enter as many qualifying competitions as you like. Many artists enter multiple times to improve their scores or compete for additional awards.

What skill levels are available in qualifying competitions?
We offer three levels:
Novice-Intermediate - For beginners and those still developing their skills.
Advanced - For experienced artists with consistent techniques.
Virtuoso - For high-end and prototype-level artists.
If you’re unsure which level suits you, the RAA team is happy to advise.

Are there skill levels at the RAA Finals?
No. All finalists are treated equally and judged to the same standard. That’s why only Gold or higher scorers from qualifying events are eligible.

Are the categories and awards the same at Qualifiers and Finals?
Mostly! General categories remain consistent, but Qualifiers and Finals have their own unique overall awards and recognitions.

I still have questions or my questions weren't answered, can I still submit a message?
Yes! Select "Other" for your reason for the enquiry from the form dropdown and use the message section to submit your questions.

REPORTING CONCERNS

I have evidence of a member breaching the RAA Code of Conduct—can I report it?
Yes. You can report any breaches using our [Reporting Form]. Please include as much evidence as possible—RAA can only take action if adequate proof is provided. Reports can be submitted anonymously, but we recommend providing a contact email in case follow-up is needed.

I believe a member is behaving unethically or maliciously—should I report it?
Yes. If you believe someone is causing harm or acting in bad faith within the community, this may be a serious Code of Conduct breach. Use our Reporting Form and include detailed evidence. As with all reports, anonymity is an option, but supplying a contact email is helpful for investigation.

I found a website or seller offering counterfeit dolls or using stolen photos—what can I do?
You can report fake sellers, scams, or unethical reborn websites to us using the same Reporting Form. Please include screenshots, URLs, or any relevant proof to assist our investigation. We’re committed to protecting the reborn community from fraud.

I still have questions or my questions weren't answered, can I still submit a message?
Yes! Select "Other" for your reason for the enquiry from the form dropdown and use the message section to submit your questions.
