HOW THE RAA WORKS

First, you'll need to complete the registration process to set up your account. All registrations will need to be approved before you are accepted as a member. Once approved, your personal directory listing will be created along with your personal RAA digital member badge, and then you'll be invited to access member-only content, competitions and opportunities.

As an artist member, you are eligible to enter our online competition events throughout the year. All competitions, including finals, will have an entry fee per reborn, per event. We offer entry-level and open-level sections for our qualifying competitions. All events will have a judging period with approved RAA judges, and results will be announced online via our socials and website.

As we want to foster artistic growth, all entries receive a digital award for their score and personal critiques from the judges, regardless of placings. Winners will receive physical awards in the post as well as digital versions for use online.

For vendors and affiliates, these competition events offer opportunities to sponsor categories or awards, judge sections, and promote your work, business, association, or guild.

Members who win awards, can display their physical awards and certificates with their work at conventions, shows and other events.

Digital awards can be displayed on social media and your website. These digital badges and awards will allow members to showcase their achievements online and promote themselves as trustworthy and authentic artists in the industry. All certificates will be high resolution for members to print professionally if they wish.

Members who have received a Gold score (85-90/100) or higher at a qualifying competition within the year, are eligible to enter the RAA Finals and compete for the coveted Australian "Reborn Artist of the Year." There are many other fantastic awards and prizes to be won at the RAA Finals as well. Just like the qualifying competition, the Finals will have a judging period with approved RAA judges, and results will be announced via live video. Physical awards, certificates and prizes will be mailed to winners, while digital awards and badges will be emailed.
