I was never interested in baby dolls until I came across a popular reborn influencer online in 2022 and I knew that eventually I wanted to become like them and paint reborn baby dolls. I began hunting online and found out loads of information such as the differences between Authentic and counterfeit reborns Initially I had my eye on a baby from Amazon but after looking on TikTok and other platforms i found out that it is never okay to buy from company’s that sell/produce stolen sculpts so I began to save and eventually in 2023 I purchased my first reborn Levi By Bonnie brown I was so Fascinated by them that I started to save for all the supplies I’d need to create my own reborn baby’s to sell to others who also enjoy the reborn hobby. In October/November of 2023 I began my reborn painting journey gradually learning more and more about different painting techniques and I am happy to say I have made some progress by re doing older reborn baby dolls that were in need of a makeover, and have improved in my painting journey quite a bit, I am now moving onto heat set paints. I have met lots of generous and kind people through the reborn community who have been very kind enough to help me through my painting journey I still have lots to learn and achieve !
