Hi, I am Silvia Szenasi, a Brazilian-born reborn artist and the creator behind Leoa's Reborn Creations located in Perth, Western Australia. I discovered the world of reborn dolls in 2020 and was immediately captivated by the incredible artistry involved in bringing a doll to life. Having always been passionate about art and creativity, reborning quickly became much more than a hobby, it became a true passion. Since then, I have created over 50 reborn babies that have found homes with collectors, families, children, and people seeking comfort through the special connection these dolls can provide. I have also been fortunate to receive several awards and ribbons at the Western Australia reborn doll show. I work exclusively with authentic kits and use Genesis Heat Set Paints to create realistic skin tones and lifelike details. The painting process is my favorite part of creating a reborn, it is a meditative experience that allows me to completely immerse myself in the artistry and creativity of each baby. One of the most rewarding aspects of reborning is the heartfelt feedback I receive from collectors and families. Knowing that one of my creations has brought joy, comfort, or a special memory to someone is what inspires me to continue learning, growing, and creating beautiful reborn babies.
