Hi friends, similar to many others, I took a long time finding my way to the reborn community. By career, I was a social worker in child welfare services like Child Protective Services and Foster Care. My last out of home job, clinical coordinator for Mentor Maryland Medically Complex Program for foster children, my husband and I decided to open our home to medically fragile foster children. I’ve cared for medical children for the last 14 years, adopted Olivia (13) and foster another littlegirl (7), and our adult sons are supportive, and helpful in the home. Needless to say, Lisa’s Crib is a happening place, so there’s times when I need to find some peace, solace, and recovery; I find this ‘quiet’ in my painting. I feel awe and wonder with every kit. Like that one layer…you know the one…when she comes out of the oven and her skin looks as if she’s taken a breath. Reborning is so amazing to me, every time. I’ve made minis, fae, newborns, a toddler…and I love painting and rooting them all! I took Mastering Rooting course, by Lizbeth Devlin, and feel confident in my progressing rooting skills. I believe I treat every customer with respect. I’m here to meet their/your needs, not mine. Let’s create your dream together….such fun!
