My name is Yuritzi Cardenas, and I am the artist behind Mountain House Nursery. I started collecting reborns and silicone babies in 2011. I have always loved baby dolls, so when I found this amazing hobby, I was immediately sold. In 2024, I was brave enough to try painting my first silicone doll. I took an online course, and after I finished my first baby doll, I was hooked. A new hobby had emerged after taking that class, which is what I currently do as a part-time job. To me, painting silicone dolls is not a job but an amazing hobby that allows me to see many different sculpts. Every time I open a new kit, it's like a box opening for me. In the past year and a half, I have taken a total of 4 online courses, which has helped me improve my skills and, in every doll, I strive to improve. Painting dolls is just a small part of who I am. I have been happily married for 15 years to an amazing husband who has supported me since day one, and together we have 4 beautiful daughters. We live in a ranch where we share with our animals 5 dogs, 2 cats, a few goats and sheep, our horse Valentina, and a bunch of chickens. My family is the reason I had come this far thanks to their continued support, so for that I thank them.
