My name is Rachel and I’m the person behind Nixter Creations. I’m based in the Midlands, UK but was raised in the North West. I’m a little bit obsessed with wolves and foxes, even my favourite sports team has Wolves in their name, Warrington Wolves Rugby League! I came up with the name Nixter Creations, after my beloved old dog Nicky, who we nicknamed Nixter. I used to make teddy bears and was always trying to capture his personality in my creations, I then got into needle felting which has stood me in good stead for all the rooting I do on my wolf pups. I first discovered the world of reborns through a documentary on tv several years ago and was fascinated. However it was during the lockdowns in 2020 that I made my first, an alien from the Elara sculpt by Jade Warner. After that, I was hooked! I love the magic of seeing a plain vinyl kit transform into a creation with personality. I use only genuine kits and stand in support with the talented sculptors, without whom, we would not have the kits and hobby today.
