I moved to the USA when I was 21 from England after finishing college for a nursing degree. I became a child care specialist and worked with children most of my life, I then had twin boys of my own who are the loves of my life! I couldn’t imagine not working with children in some capacity. I have always had artistic ability and decided to start painting on canvas 10 years ago, it became my meditation and a great hobby. In 2019 I had lung cancer,( non smoker), after a major surgery and recovery I thought I’d be returning to work but then lockdown was in place for everyone. It changed the course of my life. During Covid I decided to try something different and became a reborn artist, I have found my niche. I crave to get into the nursery to create each day and bring joy to people who enjoy them. I love the idea of being able to bring some peace and emotional support to anyone with Alzheimer’s and also to mothers who have lost. There is no greater gift in life than giving love and I hope as a reborn artist I can give that through my work.
