Art school dropout. I became a free lance artist who mostly sold paintings and sketches in exchange for dental work. I also worked in a commercial art studio briefly Like my favorite artist Mary Cassatt, my subject matter was babies and children. I would sketch a child at a stop or in a waiting room. When I encountered my first reborn doll at a craft fair I was hooked immediately. I learned how to make them from videos and books. Since then I've made and sold over 300. I love the art completely and can't see myself ever quitting.
